Random GUID Generator

Lightweight Azure Functions endpoint for generating fresh UUID v4 values on demand. Useful for testing flows, sample payloads, and quick identifier generation in scripts.

About

The API generates one RFC 4122 compliant UUID v4 per request using the Node.js uuid package. Responses are JSON and can be consumed directly by automation jobs, backend services, and test harnesses.

Function-level authentication is enabled for /api/louwmanid, so callers must supply the key through the code query parameter or x-functions-key header.

Usage notes

GET /api/louwmanid generates one UUID value.
code is required in production because the trigger uses authLevel: function.
Response shape is always {"id":"<uuid>"} when the request succeeds.
On unexpected failures the endpoint returns HTTP 500 with an error message.
